2025 Montrose County Fair & Rodeo Royalty

Queen – Heidi Castro

Heidi Castro (pronounced Hay-dee) is the proud daughter of Gerardo Castro and Luz Rosales and a junior at Montrose High School, where she serves as the Montrose FFA Chapter Sentinel. Heidi shows both horses and lambs at the Montrose County Fair and competes in local rodeos with her horses, Birdie and Black Diamond.
She is honored to be serving as the 2025 Montrose County Fair & Rodeo Queen—a role that allows her to represent the values of agriculture, leadership, and western heritage. Heidi says that Rodeo and FFA have taught me responsibility, grit, and a deep appreciation for the rural lifestyle I’m proud to promote.

 

Princess – Makayla Alexander

Makayla Alexander is the 13 year old daughter of Dean and Katie Alexander from Montrose, Colorado. She attends Peak Virtual Academy in middle school. Alongside her parents she helps run the fifth generation cow-calf and haying operations. In Makayla’s free time she enjoys barrel racing on Stella, showing APHA & AQHA with her horses, and squeezing in a few jackpots with her steers. She’s a proud 4-H member that loves giving back to the community through Agriculture and Farming Youth led Education.

 

Princess Attendant – Allie Harris

Allie Harris is the 14 year old daughter of Ben and Skye Harris. Allie is passionate about horses, rodeo, and competes in barrels, poles, breakaway roping, and team roping. Allie is looking forward to representing Montrose County this year
