2023 Montrose County Fair & Rodeo Royalty
Queen – Morgan Nutter
Morgan Nutter is the 23-24 Montrose County Fair and Rodeo queen. Morgan is a 17-year-old 6th generation western Colorado native. Morgan has a vast background in agriculture and Rodeo. Morgan has participated in 4-H, FFA and competes at rodeos in barrel racing. After high school Morgan intends to go to vet school to become a large animal veterinarian. Morgan has a passion to help the younger generations learn more about the western way of life and support all young girls on their rodeo royalty path.
Princess – Sadie Wynne
Sadie Wynne, 2023-2024 Montrose County Rodeo Princess. Sadie is the 14-year-old daughter of Karson and Samantha Wynne. Sadie and her family live and operate Freshies Farms on Upper Bostwick Park. Sadie’s passion for horses and agriculture shines brightly, fueling her enthusiasm for various activities, including showjumping, barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway roping, and participating in 4-H. When Sadie isn’t spending time with her horse Gunner, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, traveling, dance, and going to local festivals & events.
Princess Attendant – Avree Brown
Avree Brown, 2023-2024 Montrose County Rodeo Princess Attendant. Hailing from Olathe, Colorado, Avree is the daughter of Kevin and Jamie Kyle. When she’s not busy representing her title, Avree indulges in her passion for barrel racing and ranch bronc riding. With her fearless spirit and love for the rodeo, Avree is sure to make a lasting impression as she proudly represents the Montrose County Fair and Rodeo. Avree is not only a dedicated rodeo ambassador but also a Junior at Olathe High School. Alongside her academic pursuits, Avree spends her time training her own horses, showcasing her commitment and skill in the equestrian world. With her determination and passion, Avree is a shining example of a well-rounded individual who excels both in and out of the rodeo arena.
